Frank Stewart was the third eldest of the siblings. He was a gifted musician and song writer of The Singing Stewarts. He played the guitar and sang backing vocals, adding depth and richness to the group’s sound.
In addition to his work with the group, he was the first black person to have a gospel mainstream show called ‘The Frank Stewart Gospel Hour’ on BBC Radio WM was a popular show that showcased gospel music and its impact on people’s lives.
During the show, Frank Stewart shared his extensive knowledge of gospel music and highlighted the work of gospel artists from around the world.
